We feel honoured to organize the XV Annual Conference of the Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of India in January 2009. The Conference is being organised by West Bengal Orthopaedic Association (WBOA) at Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Salt Lake, Kolkata. We sincerely welcome you to attend the Conference to be held on 10^th and 11^th January, 2009.

The theme of the conference is "Deformities of lower limbs". There will be two preconference workshops on 9^th January, 2009 -"Correction of Paediatric spinal deformities" and "Osteotomies around hip". We have eminent orthopaedic surgeons from India and abroad as faculty.

West Bengal has a rich cultural heritage. Kolkata, City of Joy, is famous for its great hospitality. During the 2 week of January the climate of Kolkata will be charming. We look forward to welcome you and your family for the academic feast.
