Aim

This ICL on Pediatric Orthopedic Emergencies is designed for the pediatric orthopedic specialist as well the general orthopedic surgeon. This ICL highlights 5 common and important pediatric orthopedic emergencies and will provide the attendee with information on how to diagnose and manage these conditions. Particular attention will be paid to understanding the rationale for operative treatment options and tips on complication avoidance and management. The decision making for these patients is particularly critical and a case-based discussion with a panel of experts will highlight this in a variety a cases.
