Aim

Several etiologies may cause a child to limp. These include infections, tumors, congenital disorders, neuromuscular conditions and trauma.

This ICL will address the most common causes of limping in children, both acute and chronic, with particular emphasis on conditions that benefit from prompt identification and early treatment. Moreover, the ICL will provide an organized and structured approach to the diagnosis and management of a limping child.
