Educational Objectives
  • Discuss principles of management of common lower limb fractures in children
  • Discuss the controversies in the management of select fractures of the lower limb
  • Discuss pearls and pitfalls in managing pediatric lower extremity trauma

Target Audience

This ICL will be of interest to any orthopaedic surgeon taking care of pediatric lower limb trauma (general orthopods and pedipods).



Upon completion of this instructional course:
  • Participant will be able to formulate a treatment plan for a child with lower limb trauma
  • Apply various operative and nonoperative strategies for lower limb fractures
  • Learn how to stay out of trouble while treating pediatric lower limb trauma
