Aim/Objectives

Each child with Cerebral Palsy (CP) is absolutely unique and the professionals looking after the child must provide an evaluation of his or her very specific situation. The goal oriented management concept enables the identification of functional disorders in the child, and enables the optimization of adaptation to his or her environment, despite the disabilities.

The objectives of this ICL is to provide the attendees the basic concepts of goal oriented management of children with CP as well as of observational gait analysis, and what are the necessary checks-ups to be done and what other surgical and non-surgical measures needs to be planned to manage lower extremity disorders of children with CP.
