Congenital Upper Limb Anomalies: Evaluation & Rational Treatment Plan

Faculty

Aims & Objectives

Congenital Upper limb defects are a common referral to the Paediatric Orthopaedic surgeon. As a trainee you are exposed to some and completely unaware of the others. This ICL aims to show a spectrum of problems as seen in the Out-Patient department. We will focus on their evaluation and management in a practical way. The faculty will show the techniques via slides or edited short video. The idea is either to refine your existing skills or to create awareness for further study. The key takeaway will be management protocols and common operative techniques in this area. Hopefully this will enhance your knowledge, help refine your skills and help you deal rationally with these problems.
